We’ve been running hard in this election season but want to take a moment to update you. Just last week Jorge visited the Democratic Women of Guilford County’s candidate forum at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. We sat down with folks who live in District 5 and heard their joy and frustrations with living in this city. One woman who lives in the FR-4 section of District 5 told us that she is still fighting for sidewalks in her neighborhood! We heard from many others who are fed up with the dis-respect they receive from the majority of city council–including Trudy Wade– when they go to present their issues. Keep a look out for us in your neighborhood in the coming weeks– every weekend we are out talking to our neighbors, going door to door every Saturday and Sunday.
